Multi Power Power Supply System MPG

The DC/DC power supply systems of the MPG series are designed, among other things, for applications in railway technology. The universally applicable, modular, and easily scalable system is based on the proven DC/DC converters of the PCMD(S)250W and PCMD(S)400W series. For the 250 W or 400 W converters, 2 to 5 installation slots are available depending on the model, allowing the series to provide a total power of 500 to 2,000 W. With various wide input voltage ranges from 14.4 to 154 VDC, output voltages of 12, 24, 48, 72, and 110 VDC are generated. The output voltage operates with a UI characteristic curve. Via a remote control input, the system can be switched into a power-saving standby mode. Additional features include signaling of input and output voltage via LED, as well as a potential-free Power Good signal. The entire system is passively cooled by convection and is designed for an operating temperature range of -40 to +70 °C.
