DC/DC Converters

Whenever the available system voltage is not suitable for supplying existing electrical or electronic components, voltage converters must be used.

The range of DC/DC converters offered by MTM is extensive – the power range extends from a few watts up to the kilowatt range, for example, when converting existing battery networks to a different voltage level. Our DC/DC converters offer solutions for combining different system voltages and the equally diverse nominal voltages of electrical components.

Depending on the application, the DC/DC converters are available in various mounting types, such as: chassis mounting, DIN rail mounting, plug-in module, PCB mounting, or open frame.

Thanks to the BPC technology used – the so-called Base Plate Cooling – it is possible to dissipate heat loss efficiently via the base plate. This increases the lifespan of the devices. These robust and maintenance-free DC/DC converters are particularly suitable for use in sensitive electronic subsystems. Performance features such as increased protection class, increased overvoltage category, remote control, power-good signal, and active inrush current limitation are also available.

Thanks to special manufacturing processes, our robust power supply solutions are also resistant to mechanical stresses and environmental influences, which also ensures an extended lifespan.
